Ekikrit Enyu Kindergarten is an activities-based learning Preschool, under the management of Terakoya Educational Institute, established to provide quality education for children an affordable price. Founder Zen Dhyana Acharya Ryutoku komyo (Shrestha Milan) wants to establish more schools instead of religious monasteries in Nepal because Nepal itself is a holy land and every house is a monastery and our master believes that Education is for everyone, with noble education we can find, born many living Buddha in children. Today most schools around the world are business-based profit motive institutes. We believe education is not for business. It is以心伝心 “ishindenshin”, which must be free and purely transmitted from master to disciple not a business idea. We aim to establish free girls’ schools in Lumbini province, as well as we help needy kids through our Ekikrit Enyu Kindergarten in Kathmandu. With profit, we have an oath to hire professional teachers in Lumbini. Our profit will be donated to schools in Lumbini so that lots of children get quality education in the holy land.

The school conducts level tests at the time of enrollment to suit the proper class or grade as well as there is age criteria for admission per grade. Meritorious students should be admitted within the given time frame. However, the decision of the School Admission Committee will be final and binding.
Requirement for admission:
* Transfer of EMIS from the previous school and EMIS number and student EMIS number.
*A copy of the child’s Birth Certificate.
* Two passport-size photographs of students and one photograph of the guardian.
This fee includes meals for all children studying in this kindergarten. Admission is free to Saraswati Puja Celebration. Registration charge of Rs.1000 must be paid for reservation of seat. We have only a capacity of 18 seats per class due to a lack of land. 15% students are offered scholarships, willing parents can submit their application according to the rules and regulation of kindergarten. The school has introduced a continuous monitoring system to assess the performance of students. Class tests, monthly tests, and terminal examinations are conducted to evaluate their academic progress. Based on the progress report, students are counseled alone or along with their parents.
The School provides counseling to the students either in a group or an individual level as per necessity by a professional counselor on academic or behavioral issues.
Extracurricular activities play a dominant role in students’ overall development. Taking this into consideration, Enyu Kindergarten offers students a variety of ECC activities so that they get exposure to creative and performing arts, thereby promoting team spirit and enhancing individual skills for holistic growth. The school organizes various sporting activities, quizzes, dance, music, yoga, meditation, clay work, drama, calligraphy arts & crafts, sandpit, library, storytelling, rhymes, audio-visual and music-based learning, etc to hone their diverse skills.
The school has a well-stocked library consisting of course books, reference books, Nepali Ehon, and lots of international Picture books donated from Japan and European countries. Students may borrow the books as per the library rules. We have also distributed free international picture books to 45 schools in Nepal.
Enyu Kindergarten incorporates participatory teaching learning approach with the aid of modern technology, getting connected to modern and innovative teaching methods. We especially focus our child to do lots of experiment so that they can learn by doing. In order to facilitate students’ overall progress, the school has managed well furnished classrooms equipped with the latest technology. We regard each child as a unique individual and try our best to make them realize the area of their interest so that they pursue it and excel in whatever they do.
The school regularly interacts with the parents/guardians on teaching-learning practices and always expects feedback so as to upgrade academic standard. Parents/guardians are expected to visit the school to interact, cooperate and to administer regularity and punctuality of the students.
